After working in the salon industry for 10 years , EV and her sister Diana became the proud owners of the Beehive Hair Salon in February 2010. She’s doing things her own way! EV got her education at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and has taken classes with Toni and Guy, Framesi, BioIonic, Hair Treats and Great Lengths Extensions, Redken, and Lakme. Her favorite product is Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream because it heals hair back to life!  As an owner, EV wants clients to leave the Beehive feeling rejuvenated!

Savon has been a nail technician for over ten years and specializes in natural and acrylic nail services. She does amazing nail art too! She also does facial and body waxing. Savon loves the sweet, down to earth clients she works with at the Beehive.

Dana comes to the Beehive from the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute, and has also had advanced classes with Matrix, American Crew, and Lakme. She thinks the most important thing she can do for her clients is REALLY LISTEN TO THEM! She’s a big-time foodie, a crazy animal lover, indie-rock fan, and Scrabble addict.

Sam started off in the beauty business at Chesterfield Technical Center in Virginia and worked at an Aveda salon there before moving to Pennsylvania and joining the team at the Beehive. She has taken advanced classes with Aveda, Matrix, and Aquage and has her Affirm Relaxer certification. Sam specializes in updos and formal styles, but is so well-rounded she is known around the salon as the “Spa Master”!

After more than a decade in the hair business, Vanessa’s passion continues. She creates cuts, color,  and updo’s ranging from edgy to vintage-inspired to conservative in style. Vanessa has an extensive education background that most notably includes Pivot Point Boot Camp, Tony & Guy, London and more recently, certification with Deva Curl. Education will never stop for Vanessa – she is always seeking out the best hairclasses, reading hair blogs (especially from Europe and Asia), traveling , and attending art happenings all in search for daily salon inspiration.

Rich comes from a family of stylists and after spending some time studying art, decided hair was his art form and made the switch to the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute. He continued his education with classes from Framesi, Avlon, Lakme, Label M, and Murad. Richard’s favorite tool is his round boar brustle brush and his favorite product is Hair Polish by Label M. He likes the professional, casual, fun atmosphere at the Beehive and what he likes most is enhancing his clients’ natural beauty.

Lana comes to us from the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute, and she has also studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She loves to do makeup and comes up with innovative new facials. Some of her favorite products are the Moroccan Oil and Hairtreats hair extensions. She loves the way the Beehive staff works as a team!
